Her career has focused on the healthcare and life sciences, high technology, and consumer sectors, where she has represented numerous investment institutions, companies at all stage of growth—from early-stage startups to publicly traded corporations, and large domestic and multinational corporations. She has also advised a number of leading investment funds on the exit of portfolio investments, employing a range of structures including preferred liquidation, share transfers, negotiated redemptions, and dispute resolution.
In the healthcare and life sciences industry, Ruina Ma’s experience spans the entire industry chain, covering sectors such as medical institutions (including internet hospitals), pharmaceutical R&D, drug manufacturing, medical distribution, medical devices and consumables, genetic testing, digital health, and elderly care services.
