China Arbitration Week, the most influential annual activities in the China arbitration sector, has been held successfully for four consecutive years. Every year, China Arbitration week attracts active participation from foreign and domestic arbitration experts, judgers, jurisprudents, and attorneys. This year, the forums during the China Arbitration Week are especially grand meetings for foreign and domestic arbitration participants.

Xiusong XING, a partner of GLO, gave a talk on “Integration and Communication — New Trends and Hotspots in the Development of Commercial Arbitration” on September 20. In the Youth Arbitration Forum on September 21, Zhongcheng WANG, a partner of GLO, gave a keynote speech on the topic “Handling of Authentication in Arbitration”. During his speech, Zhongcheng focused on the necessity of authentication, authentication institutions, procedure management, and other key issues and shared his experiences in handling authentication from the attorneys’ and arbitral tribunal’s point of view.

Both GLO and CIETAC were established by CCPIT. Since its establishment 33 years ago, GLO has always been one of the leading law offices for commercial dispute resolution in China -- especially international commercial arbitration. GLO has successfully led more than 10 landmark arbitration cases in China. Over the last few years, more than 10 attorneys from GLO have been appointed to act as arbitrators with CIETAC, Beijing Arbitration Commission, and other foreign and domestic arbitration institutions. GLO continues to participate in a great deal of foreign and domestic arbitration cases.
