A survey conducted by ALB (Asian Legal Business) in 2013 for the purpose of the Employer of Choice China ranked Global Law Office China's best employer.

The ALB Employer of Choice China rankings were compiled taking into account responses from hundreds of law firm employees, ranging from managing partners to support staff, as well as ALB's market knowledge.  The survey was open in the months of May and June, and law firms have ranked on the basis of job satisfaction, remuneration, work-life balance, career prospects, mentorship, job security and other aspects; with respondents being asked to submit their views anonymously to help maintain fairness and objectivity.
