Practice Areas

Mr. Wan's main practice areas include dispute resolution, arbitration, and non-litigation resolution of various disputes. He is skilled in handling medical, real estate, corporate, financial, and family-related disputes such as marriage, family, and wealth inheritance.

 

Mr. Wan has rich practical experience. Before joining Global, he worked in the court for ten years, served as the head of the trial team, and tried more than 1,500 civil and commercial cases of various types. Six of the cases he tried have been selected into The People's Judicature, Selected Cases of the People's Court, and Gazette of the Supreme People's Court, and 11 cases have won the second prize of the "National Court System Case Discussion Forum" "Ten Major Cases for the Construction of the Belt and Road Initiative from the Shanghai Court System" and the "Four One Hundred" Excellent Cases of the Shanghai Court. He has been awarded various awards for civil servants, including Advanced Individuals, Commendation and Third Class Merit Citation.

 

With a solid foundation in legal theories, Mr. Wan has written and published more than 60 practical research articles and topics, more than 10 of which were published in core publications at the national level, and won awards at the 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th Academic Seminars of National Courts System as well as the First High-level Forum of People's Courts held by the Supreme People's Court.

His academic research was listed in the Guidance and Reference for Civil Trial compiled by the Supreme People's Court and he participated in the drafting and discussion of several judicial interpretations of the Supreme People's Court.

 

After joining Global, Mr. Wan mainly engages in dispute resolution and family related disputes. He has served renown domestic enterprises as well as multinational corporations including LG, Porsche, Siemens Trading, NIO, SAIC Group, HP, CITIC Securities, SPD Bank, Bringer Ingham, MSD, BeiGene, Abbvie, Siemens Medical Devices, Correvio International Sar, etc.

Working Experience

Mr. Wan joined Global in 2018. Prior to this, he worked in a court in Shanghai for nearly 10 years (2009-2018), serving as the level-IV senior judge and head of the trial team.
