Hai Huang has extensive experience representing international and PRC companies across various transaction types, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity and venture capital investments, foreign direct investments, and capital market transactions. His industry expertise spans traditional sectors like manufacturing and services, as well as emerging fields such as biomedical, internet technology, mobile networks, telecommunications, high-tech, entertainment, education, and clean energy.

In M&A, Hai Huang has:

• Worked with multinational corporations such as DuPont, Fortive Corporation, Colfax Corporation, MP Materials, Stanley Black & Decker, Panasonic Healthcare, DSM China, Amazon China, HP China, McWane, Armstrong, Siemens, Shell, GE, Nokia, Cadbury and Pfizer on their cross-border and direct investment transactions; and
• Represented major Chinese companies including Alibaba Ant Financial, Baidu, ByteDance, JD.com, Kingsoft, LightChaser, China Mobile and Huawei Technologies, along with other private and State-owned companies in their PRC transactions.

In private equity and venture capital, Hai Huang has represented:

• Investors including Investindustrial, Calera Capital, Permira, Japan Industrial Partners, Trustbridge Partners, Carica Sustainable Investors, CICC Fund, CPE, Qiming, Temasek, Actis, Avenue, Macquarie, Citic PE, IDG, DFJ on their China related investment projects; and
• Many newly formed startups and their founders in securing venture capital financings.

In capital markets, Hai Huang has represented issuers and underwriters in a range of public offerings and debt transactions on major stock exchanges such as the NYSE, NASDAQ, and Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
