Jing Zhang specializes in legal services in the field of intellectual property, including patents, trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights and unfair competition. Jing Zhang focuses particularly on patent infringement, trade secret infringement and other intellectual property litigation, patent and trademark administrative authorization and confirmation, as well as technology-related intellectual property due diligence, FTO and other non-litigation services.

In terms of litigation practice, a number of cases that Jing Zhang has participated in have been awarded as corresponding typical cases, including the annual typical cases of Beijing Intellectual Property Court in 2019, 50 typical intellectual property cases of Chinese courts in 2018, the top ten cases of judicial protection of intellectual property in Shanghai courts in 2018, and the top ten cases of patent reexamination and invalidation in 2017.

In terms of non-litigation practice, Jing Zhang has provided numerous legal services on freedom to operate (FTO), patent stability analysis, and patent licensing prospect analysis in new products or technology cooperation. In addition, Jing Zhang has also provided IP due diligence services in many investment and financing projects led by or participated in by many famous investors.

Prior to joining Global Law Office in 2016, Jing Zhang had several internships at Xicheng District Court and other IP firms.
