Mr. Bao also is one of the leading partners of our Japanese practice team with 20 years’ experience of providing extensive legal service for Chinese and Japanese multinational companies.
In terms of solving cooperate operations and compliance cases of multinational companies, Mr. Bao has rich experience in the field of labor-related matters including designing transaction structures, conducting due diligence, drafting transaction documents, participating in negotiations and providing legal opinions in connection with business operation and regulatory compliance. He has provided legal services in connection with environmental protection, land, labor and intellectual property, etc. He also provides legal services to many Japanese companies and representative organizations in connection with restructuring, dissolution and liquidation.
The clients that Mr. Bao has served across a wide range of industries and sector, including trade, auto manufacturing, auto parts manufacturing, automobile sales, home appliance manufacturing, telecommunication, E-commerce, tourism, advertisement, public relations, exhibition, transportation, banking, Internet, software, media & entertainment and pharmacy.
Prior to joining GLO, Mr. Bao worked at King & Wood Mallesons for 13 years. He also worked at Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China and China Law Society for more than 10 years.

Mr. Rongzhen Bao once acted as director and deputy secretary-general of Chinese Cross-Strait Legal Issues Study Association, secretary general of Beijing Japanese Science and Culture Study Center and member of Foreign Affairs Committee of All China Lawyers Association. He is the researcher of International Environmental Law Research Institute of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), adjunct professor of College of Law Juris Master of CUPL, director of Lawyers Law Research Association of China Law Society and deputy secretary-general of Society for Chinese and Japanese Civil and Commercial Laws.
