Zhenyi Zhu is an of counsel of Global Law Office based in Shanghai and specialized in capital markets, M&A and PE/VC, industries in which she has been involved include healthcare, new energy, semiconductor chips, cultural education, digital economy, etc.
In the area of capital markets, Zhenyi Zhu has led or participated in IPO and post-IPO offering projects for A-shares on the STAR Market, ChiNext, the main boards of the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges, and the Beijing Stock Exchange, as well as for red-chip or H-shares overseas in Hong Kong and the United States. Notable examples include the IPO of Weigao Orthopedics (688161) on the STAR Market, the IPO of Jingyan Technology (300709) on ChiNext, the listing of Baixing.com (836012) on NEEQ, the listing of Jiangsu Hecheng (833241) on NEEQ; she also provided legal services on the A-share IPOs, H-share IPOs and NASDAQ listing for several leading healthcare, high-end manufacturing, semiconductor and education companies in Shangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and Shanxi.
In the area of private equity financing, Zhenyi Zhu has represented numerous PE/VC funds, including Greater Bay Area Home Fund, Sequoia Capital, Shengqu Fund and Shanxi State-owned Capital Fund. She has participated in various financing projects covering industries as bio-medicine, medical devices, high-end manufacturing, chip semiconductor, new energy，etc. Notable examples include Hansi Biotech (Series A financing), Tengsheng Technology (Series A financing), Worg Pharmaceuticals (Series B financing), Jingliang Technology (Series B financing), Shenzhi Technology (Series C financing) and Aotai Medical (strategic financing), etc.
In the area of M&A, Zhenyi Zhu has provided legal services for China Three Gorges New Energy on numerous M&A transactions of photovoltaic power stations; during her career in investment banking, she participated in a number of M&A projects of listed companies, including a series of major asset restructuring transactions of Wanjia Culture (600576), takeover of control project of Hongda New Material (002211), merger and reorganization project of China New Energy (600617), etc.
In addition, Zhenyi Zhu has provided legal advisory services for local state-owned enterprises and well-known private enterprises. She has provided legal services for the Management Committee of Changzhi High-tech Development Zone in Shanxi Province; she has also represented Weiguo Group in the in-depth cooperation with Tianjin University on the scientific-research achievement transformation thus providing all-round legal support for Weiguo Surgical Robot.
Zhenyi Zhu joined Global Law Office in 2024. Prior to joining Global, Zhenyi Zhu worked in investment banking for large securities companies such as Citic Securities and passed the Sponsor Representative Examination in 2017; she also worked in well-known law firms, such as Allbright Law Office and King & Wood Mallesons, for many years.
