Lilian Li is a partner of Global Law Office based in Beijing, where her practice areas include M&As, company compliance and risk control, overseas investment, health and medical care, and ESG investments and compliance. Lilian Li has deeply involved in and led a number of domestic and overseas investments, company compliance system build-up projects, data compliance projects, FDIs,   dispute resolutions, etc. and she also advised on general corporate and commercial regulatory matters. Her clients cover domestic enterprises (including reputable SOEs, Start-ups, public companies), foreign enterprises and overseas enterprises, and the industrial sectors of her domains mainly include data and AI, health and medical care, renewable energy, ESG investments and compliance.

Lilian Li joined Global Law Office in 2023. Prior to that, Lilian Li worked at KWM Beijing and Allen & Overy LLP Beijing, covering general corporate, inbound and outbound M&As, corporate compliance and regulatory advising and FDI matters, and she also has experience in dispute resolutions. She was a legal counsel at Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) China, and then became the head of legal and compliance department and the DPO of VFS Global China and the last in-house role as the legal and compliance director of a big data company subsided to the China Electronics Corporation (CEC Group), in charge of the company's overall legal, compliance and internal control matters.
