Lilian Li is a partner of Global Law Office based in Beijing. She specializes in the M&A, cross-border investments, general corporate affairs, corporate compliance, data assets and data compliance, and ESG areas. Her clients cover domestic companies and institutions (including SOEs, listed companies, start-ups and technology innovation enterprises), foreign invested companies and overseas enterprises, mainly in the Information technology, big data and AI, TMTs, technology innovation, renewable energy and steel industries.

Lilian Li joined Global Law Office in 2023. Prior to that, Lilian Li used to practice law at King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) in Beijing and Allen & Overy Beijing office. She also served as a legal counsel for Louis Dreyfus China (LDC), and the Senior Legal General Manager and Data Compliance Officer (DPO) for VFS Global China, and thereafter took the role as the Head of Legal and Compliance at a big data company of the CEC Group covering corporate legal, compliance and internal control.
