Yalin Li is a partner of Global Law Office based in Beijing and specialized in banking and finance, outbound investment, corporate and acquisitions and dispute resolutions.

 

In the field of bank financing, Yalin Li has been working on syndicated loans, project financing, export credit, cross-border loans and guarantees on behalf of most of major Chinese and international financial institutions in the market (including CDB, Sinosure, ICBC, CCB, IFC, ADB, BNPP, SCB and BBVA etc.).

 

In the field of bond issuance, Yalin Li has participated in a number of onshore and offshore bond

issuances (including Panda Bonds and debt financing instruments issued in the PRC bond market, and RMB, USD and EUR bonds issued in Hong Kong, Singapore and London markets). She has worked as the lead counsel in several “first” bond issuance projects, including the world’s first simultaneous issuance of tri-product ESG bonds, the first offshore supplemental capital instrument issued by Chinese financial leasing companies, and the first RMB Dim Sum bonds in Central Asia.

 

In the area of dispute resolutions, she has participated in arbitration proceedings before domestic and international arbitration institutions, including, inter alia, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC), London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA) and Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).
