Vincent Wang is a partner of Global Law Office based in Shanghai. Vincent focuses his practices working on multinational businesses and cross-border transactions in a broad-spectrum of industries. He is particularly skillful of providing innovative solutions and regulatory advice in telecommunications and internet businesses, high technology businesses, cybersecurity and data protection, and digital assets regulation and good at landing businesses in multi-jurisdictions.

 

In his main areas of practice, Vincent has represented several Fortune 500 multinational clients, as well as many Chinese private companies. He frequently advised clients on cross-border investments, commercial transactions and regulatory compliance matters, including businesses of cloud computing, internet contents, eCommerce platforms, IoTS, and other internet related operations; business of FinTech, electronic payments, blockchain, NFT, cryptocurrencies, and digital assets managements; business of high technology equipment/device manufacture, artificial intelligence and algorithm regulation, chatbots, digital twins and other new and emerging technologies; business of traditional and new energy powered automotive, e-mobility, medical devices, new media and streaming entertainment, food and beverage, agriculture and farming, and international trade and export control. In addition to the above, Vincent also assists clients in management of cross-border dispute resolutions or serving as expert witness on PRC law issues in the above areas.

 

In serving the clients, Vincent is familiar with the differences between foreign and Chinese parties and can effectively and efficiently set the proper expectation and smooth out the communication of the parties. He is particularly good at making complicated legal issues clear and simple and is creative to offer practical and use-friendly solutions.

Work Experience

Vincent started his practice from 1998. Before joining Global, he had worked for the Seattle base law firm, Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, for 18 years and was a law partner in that firm.
